How Credit-Market Tremors Have Affected Junk Bonds, LBOs and Hedge Funds

The days of easy credit may be coming to an end. The jitters began with losses at two Bear Stearns hedge funds that invested in subprime-mortgage debt that now are worth almost nothing.
